Their electronic muffs take loud sounds and, in a millisecond,
compress it down to an acceptable level for the human ear. While this may
not sound like much, the whole process happens so fast, it's really a technical
marvel. Some other electronic muff models from different manufacturers may
have a slight lag time between the sound and compression, but not Pro Ears.
