Comp-Tac Speed Paddle Holster

The Comp-Tac Speed Paddle holster was designed to meet the needs of shooters who prefer a secure holster that is easy to put on and take off.

What separates the Comp-Tac Speed Paddle from other similar kydex paddles on the market is the unique paddle design. Many other holster manufacturers utilize a single wedge or tab to keep the paddle on the belt. While this approach works, it also tends to create a pivot point, causing the holster to rock back and forth on the belt. To offset the rocking motion and maintain stability, many manufacturers produce an enlarged paddle. The result is a paddle that is bulky, less comfortable, and creates a larger footprint on the wearer.

Comp-Tac took a different approach and designed a smaller paddle that features stability tabs at the front and back of the paddle. These stability tabs hook against the bottom of the belt, which eliminates the rocking issues mentioned previously. The design pulls the weapon in close and tight, but still allows enough room for a full firing grip. The speed cutaway on the front of the holster lets the shooter quickly clear the holster and complete the draw.

The Speed Paddle is available in 3 different cants:

15 Degree Forward Cant	Speed or Straight Up Cant	Crossdraw Cant

In addition to the standard speed paddle model, Comp-Tac also offers a Slide model for select weapons. The Slide model is open ended so it will accommodate similar weapons with different barrel lengths. Note that the Slide model is only produced for a few models and those models are identified on the "Comp-Tac Weapons" drop down menu below.
