SureFire E2D Executive Defender

The SureFire E2D Executive Defender is a high-intensity incandescent flashlight designed for self defense and tactical applications.

The E2D is very similar to the popular SureFire E2E, but the E2D adds Surefire's patented crenellated Strike Bezel and crenellated tailcap cover. These strike bezels are designed so the flashlight can be used as an enhanced self defense tool in close quarters situations. The E2D emits a high intensity, pre-focused tactical-level beam that produces 2 times the light output of a large two D-cell flashlight. The light output from the E2D is more than bright enough to temporarily blind and disorient a person by impairing his night-adapted vision.

The body is manufactured from aerospace grade aluminum with a Mil-Spec anodized black finish. The E2D features a O-ring seal that is weatherproof and water resistant. The tailcap on the E2D features a press button activated instant on, which can be pressed further for a constant-on. The tailcap also features a lockout switch that will prevent accidental activation when the light is in transit to storage.
