Don Hume H715M W/C Clip-On Inside the Waistband (IWB) Holster
Since it's introduction in 1998, the Hume H715M W/C (With Clip) inside the waistband holster has been very well received by the concealed carry community. With the H715M W/C, Hume set out to create a quality clip-on IWB holster that performs and conceals well, while remaining affordable. Rather than use a "one-size fits all" approach, this holster is sized to fit the specific pistol it was intended to carry. For example, Don Hume offers separate versions of the H715M W/C holster for the Glock 17, Glock 19, and Glock 26 that are specific to the barrel of each pistol.
The H715M is manufactured in the USA using 6-7 ounce premium leather, the highest quality nylon thread, and a strong metal clip. This model comes in either black or saddle brown leather but the clip only comes in a black oxide finish.
The clip is designed to fit a gun belt up to 1 3/4" wide. The holster features double stitching, and a reinforced mouth for easier reholstering. Holsters are specifically molded for a certain handgun and then tested for fit and performance.
The H715M W/C model has proven to be one of our top sellers based on quality and value. It's an excellent choice for concealed carry, and seems to perform best when worn in the strongside position or just behind the hip.
How to tell if they holster model you are interested in is in stock: On the dropdown menu out beside each holster, there will be a notification if the holster is in stock or out of stock. Some commonly asked questions about this holster:
Can this holster be worn outside the waistband on the belt as a clip-on OWB holster?
No, it's not designed that way and won't function that way.
Will the clip stay in place when the handgun is drawn?
There's a 2 part answer to that question:
- First, like most any leather holster, this model has to be properly broken in.
- Second, the clip has a bottom lip that is designed to ride underneath the bottom of the belt to keep the holster in place.
I'm looking for the model with a bodyshield, but don't see it?

Is this holster made to fit any handguns that have a light or laser mounted?
Unfortunately, Don Hume does not currently offer this holster in any configurations to fit a handgun or revolver with a light or laser attached. The only exception to that rule are some of the pistols or revolvers that have a laser grip installed.

Great no frills holster with small footprint
The reason I purchased this holster was to keep my slim 1911 from being too bulky on my hip. This holster does the trick. Keeps the gun snug too, easy to reholster and the clip holds well on the belt. Love the reasonable price as well. That earned my respect.

great inexpensive holster
This holster is a very good inside the waist clip on holster--priced right and very good quality--I own four of these holsters for different guns that I own. I have a GLOCK 30, 36, 39 and 27 also Taurus 850. I wear this holster everyday and there are days I forget I have it on.

This holster is perfect for conseal carry. The clip is very rigid. Easy to draw weapon. Kimber Super Ultra Carry fits.

Great quality but much snugger than my Glock 26 version
I had previously purchased this model holster for my Glock 26 and it is a great holster so I figured that I would buy the same holster for my newly acquired LC9. When I received the LC9 holster it looked like the same great quality and finish as my first holster. Once i tried the Ruger in the holster it was very very snug and actually quite hard to get in. My Glock on the other hand slipped right in when it was new? I'm hoping that the LC9 holster will loosen up as the gun remains in the holster for a while.
