Introduced at the end of 2021, the Beretta APX A1 Carry semi-automatic pistol is designed as a concealed carry or personal protection option using the patented APX striker-fired platform. The A1 Carry is Beretta’s smallest pistol option in the APX line and is designed to compete with other micro-sized striker-fired 9mm models like the Glock 43x, Sig P365, and Springfield Hellcat.
This handgun model is an updated and refined version of the Beretta APX Carry pistol that Beretta introduced in the U.S. in April of 2019. The A1 Carry model features:
Like all the Beretta APX pistols, the A1 Carry model utilizes a modular, serialized trigger assembly that can be transitioned from one APX frame to another. Additionally, this pistol model is available in a number of frame colors, including black, desert tan, olive drab, and grey.
Although some of the APX pistol models are available in 9mm and .40 S&W caliber options, the A1 Carry is currently only available in a 9mm configuration. Additionally, each pistol comes with an 8-round magazine (with an extension) and a flush fitting six round magazine.
A few things to note about the A1 Carry:
Overall, the A1 Carry has received favorable reviews as a small, budget-friendly CCW option.
From a holster standpoint, our most popular holster models for the A1 Carry have been inside the waistband models (IWB holster), followed by high-riding OWB belt holsters. Appendix IWB is another popular holster style for this pistol model. Poket carry might be a little iffy, however, with the right pants, you might be able to carry this APX model in a front pocket holster. Since the A1 Carry was designed for concealment, most any concealed carry holster will work well.
Here are some commonly asked questions that we've seen regarding Beretta APX A1 carry accessories and holsters:
Yes, any of the leather holster models displayed below are available in a model to fit the A1 Carry, and made specific to fit that pistol.
Almost any of the holster options below can be manufactured to fit an A1 Carry with a red dot mounted. MTR Custom adds a cutaway area in the holster to accommodate the red dot. The make and model of the red dot doesn’t really matter, as the RMR slot will fit any red dot optic.
Unfortunately, at this time, Beretta only offers the A1 Carry in 9mm, so you most likely don’t have an A1 Carry model. However, there’s always a chance that Beretta will add the .40 caliber as an option later.
Most any of the IWB holster options listed below or an of the high riding belt holster models are potentially good options for concealed carry with the APX A1.
Unfortunately, we don't carry a shoulder holster model to fit that specific Beretta pistol.
A: Yes, we offer several A1 APX holster options for open carry, but most are OWB (outside the waistband) models.
