Glock 48

The Glock 48 was first introduced in January 2019 and was marketed as a slimmer, single-stack 9mm pistol designed for concealed carry. Since the Glock 48 is basically a single version of the immensely popular Glock 19, the G48 is noticeably thinner than the G19. How much thinner? The 48 has an overall width of 1.10 inches compared to the Glock 19, with an overall width of 1.26 inches. While the .16 of an inch difference may not seem like much on paper, it's considerably thinner in real life for a carry gun.

As the Glock G48 is a single stack model, the magazine capacity is reduced to 10 rounds or a total capacity of 10+1. The thinner frame and reduced magazine capacity compared to the G19 also mean a reduction in overall weight. The G 48 weighs in at 20.74 ounces unloaded, which is nearly three ounces less than the Glock 19.

Glock 48 Paddle Holsters

Another popular OWB holster style for most all Glock handguns (including the 48) is a paddle holster. This holster style features a paddle that slides down into the waistband while the holster portion of the rig rides outside on the waist.

While this style isn't ideal for concealment, the paddle design makes this holster type easier to put on or take off compared to a traditional belt holster.

Do you carry a Glock 48 level 2 holster?

It's essential to be clear on the specific meaning of a level 2 holster before answering that question. For example, a Level 1 holster will be equipped with one retention device, while a level 2 holster will be fitted with two retention devices.

Where are your kydex holster choices for the G48?

Currently, we do not carry any kydex holster brands. All of our current holsters are molded and constructed from premium leather.
