    • Canik Mete SFT

    The Mete SFT pistol was introduced to the market in early 2022 and is marketed as an evolution of the popular Canik TP series of handguns. Like most Canik firearms, the Mete SFT is a striker fired pistol manufactured in Turkey. This version of the Mete pistols is only available in a 9mm caliber, and in two versions: a black or two-tone version.

    The Canik Mete SFT includes the following enhancements and functional improvements based on consumer and engineering feedback:

    • Ergonomically redesigned beavertail to provide better grip and control.
    • Integrated flared mag-well to facilitate quicker and easier magazine changes.
    • Improved grip texturing that offers a positive and gritty feel without being overly abrasive.
    • Optics-ready slide that is compatible with Trijicon RMRcc and Shield RMS/RMSc footprint micro optics.
    • Low profile ambidextrous slide stop/release for easier slide engagement and disengagement.
    • Enhanced trigger featuring a short, crisp break at 3.75 lbs with a tactile and audible trigger reset.

    Holsters for the Canik Mete SFT Handgun

    Since the Mete SFT version is classified as a “full-size” pistol, so it’s best suited for range use or home defense versus concealed carry. Our top-selling holster models for the Mete SFT are all OWB holster styles, like the MTR Custom Belt Scabbard or the MTR Custom Deluxe Slimline Pancake holster.

    All the leather holsters we offer for the SFT pistol are manufactured from premium bullhide leather and explicitly molded to an actual SFT model.

    Canik Mete SFT holster with Light

    For shooters with a weapon light or light mounted on their SFT, MTR Custom offers holsters made to fit the SFT with a number of different possible weapon lights mounted.

    Currently, they support the following weapon light brands:

    • OLight
    • Surefire
    • Streamlight

    MTR Custom can make a leather holster to fit a Mete SFT pistol with nearly any pistol light from any of those three light brands.

    Holsters for a Mete SFT with a red Dot Mounted

    In addition to supporting most of the name brand pistol lights, MTR Custom also offers gun holsters for a Mete SFT handgun with a red dot optic or RMR optic mounted.

    For those situations, MTR offers a special cut-away section in the holster designed to accommodate most red dot optic brands.

    Any of the holster or magazine carrier models displayed below are available in a version to fit the Canik Mete SFT, including pistols with a mounted weapon light or red dot optic.
