If you’ve landed on this page, then you’re likely searching for a holster to fit the S&W 327 Performance Center revolver with a 2” barrel. Before discussing all the possible holster options for this N-frame revolver, let’s first do a quick overview of this Performance Center model.

Introduced in 2008, the Model 327 Performance Center (which is typically shortened to PC) is a short-barreled N-frame wheelgun designed for defensive carry or as a lightweight woods gun.

Coming from the Performance Center, this model features the PC tuning integrated with S&W premium materials (such as their Scandium Alloy). The 327 PC is chambered in .357 Magnum and features an 8-round capacity. In addition, the cylinder is recessed to handle moon clips.

This model weighs 22.6 ounces unloaded, making it incredibly lightweight for an N-frame wheelgun.

S&W 327 PC Holster Options

Holsters for this revolver may be challenging to find as the cylinder width and unique barrel/ejector rod configuration are entirely different from a traditional S&W N frame model.

Since the 327 is lightweight and snubby, it can potentially be carried in an IWB holster. However, be aware that the cylinder on this model is wider than a traditional 6-shot N frame model, so that additional width will translate to increased thickness in an IWB holster configuration.

That being said, our most popular IWB holsters for this PC revolver are the MTR Custom Slimline Tuckable IWB and the MTR Adversary IWB. Another popular option is the MTR Dual Carry, which can be worn as an inside the waistband or an outside the waistband holster.

Overall, our top-selling gun holster models have been OWB or outside the waistband styles. Some of our best-selling holster options for the 327 include the MTR Custom Slimline Deluxe Pancake Holster and the MTR Belt Scabbard.

Most of the Gunner’s Alley staff feel that the 327 is too large for pocket carry and is on the larger side for ankle carry.

FAQS

Here are some commonly asked questions that we’ve encountered involving holsters for the S&W PC 327:

Will a 327 fit into a holster made for an N-frame revolver with a 2” barrel?

Although the 327 is built on S&W’s N frame, it won’t fit into a holster made for a traditional N frame with a 2” barrel. The snubby barrel design, wider than average cylinder, and ejector rod housing mean that the 327 requires a gun holster built specifically for it.

Do you offer a chest rig holster for the S&W 327 PC revolver?

Unfortunately, at this time, we don’t offer a chest rig for this specific S&W revolver.
