Introduced at the 2022 SHOT Show, the Taurus 327 is part of their small frame revolver series chambered in .327 Federal Magnum. As an added bonus, this caliber (.327 Federal Magnum) will also fire a .32 H&R Magnum caliber and a .32 S&W caliber.
The Taurus 327 series is offered in a 2-inch and 3-inch version. The 3-inch version is the 327 TORO model, which is also designed to accept a red dot optic on top of the frame.
From a size comparison perspective, the 327 2" models are built on the same frame and dimensions as the Taurus 856 revolver. The cylinder size on the 327 is the same size as the cylinder on the 856.
The 327 with the 2" barrel is a viable option for concealed carry and self-defense, with the .327 Federal Magnum offering more power and potential stopping power compared to the traditional .38 Special round. In addition, many revolvers chambered in .38 Special carry five rounds, while most revolvers in .327 Federal Magnum carry six rounds.

The MTR Front pocket holster is available in a version to fit the 327 Taurus. However, you'll need a front pocket that is relatively wide and deep to hide that specific revolver in a front pocket.

Almost all of the OWB and IWB holsters below made for the 327 Revolver can be manufactured with an optional retention strap added for more retention or security. Please note that this option needs to be added during the ordering process.
