Introduced at the 2017 SHOT Show, the TH9 is part of the Taurus TH pistol series, which is made up of hammer-fired, double-action/single-action pistols designed to fit the modern shooter.
Initially, the TH9 was known as the TH9, but Taurus would later introduce a more compact version of the TH9, called the TH9 Compact or TH9c. Since the introduction of the Compact version, the original TH9 is commonly referred to as the TH9 full-size.
The TH9 is only available in 9mm, while Taurus also introduced a .40 caliber model in 2017, commonly known as the TH40.
Since the TH9 is a full-size, large frame pistol (it's over 7 inches long), our most popular holster styles for this pistol are outside the waistband models such as the MTR Custom Slimline Deluxe Pancake and the MTR Custom Belt Scabbard.
Another holster option that has been somewhat popular for the TH9 is the paddle holster style. The polymer paddle makes this holster style easier to put on or take off compared to a traditional belt holster.
Technically, the TH9 FS can be worn IWB, but it might be challenging to successfully conceal a handgun of that size. Honestly, if you're planning on carrying one of the TH pistol series for CCW, we suggest looking at the TH9 Compact model.

The 9mm and .40 caliber versions are close enough in size that the .40 caliber version will fit into a holster made for the 9mm version.
Now, Taurus also offers a TH45 pistol chambered in .45 ACP. The TH45 has different dimensions from the 9mm and .40 versions, so a TH40 will NOT fit into a holster made for the TH45.
